Design Technology Teacher Required for Secondary School in Barking and Dagenham

Are you an experienced or soon to be qualified Design Technology Teacher with QTS who is seeking a full-time role for September 2025? This role working in an exciting school in Barking and Dagenham might be just right for you!

About the role

We are working with the school to recruit a teacher who can commit to a permanent position teaching Design Technology to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 to start in September 2025. A July start is available for ECTs.

The school has a big focus on staff and student wellbeing. Their behaviour policy is based on mutual respect, and the school fosters a calm learning environment for students. Staff are well supported with CPD at all levels to continue their learning. School meetings happen during the school day on timetable to provide further work/life balance for their staff.

About you

QTS with a Design Technology specialism
Experience teaching Design Technololgy at KS3, KS4 and KS5 (optional) in a secondary school
Proven background of high pupil progress
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
