Overview: Join our client, a vibrant and growing firm of chartered accountants in Barnet as a new Junior Accountant/Accounts Semi-Senior. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage and reconcile client accounts meticulously.
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and tax returns.
  • Support senior accountants with a variety of accounting tasks and projects.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • You are part-qualified AAT, ACA, or ACCA
  • At least 12-18 months of experience within a practice environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Accounts to trial balance, with strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations.
