Overview: Join our client, a vibrant and growing firm of chartered accountants in Barnet as a new Junior Accountant/Accounts Semi-Senior. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage and reconcile client accounts meticulously.
- Assist in the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and tax returns.
- Support senior accountants with a variety of accounting tasks and projects.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- You are part-qualified AAT, ACA, or ACCA
- At least 12-18 months of experience within a practice environment is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Accounts to trial balance, with strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations.
