The Firm
A family friendly firm of Chartered Accounts based in lovely office on the boarder of London and Hertfordshire. They have a modern attitude to working conditions and a healthy work/life balance. The firm are laid back and many of their staff have been with them for years. They are looking for someone who wants to progress in their career and to this end will assist in gaining greater experience and exposure to higher level advisory services and support further studies.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of tax clients, predominantly on compliance issues
- Preparation of private client tax returns and computations
- Liaising with clients and HMRC on a day-to-day basis regarding tax affairs
- Helping clients understand and manage their tax liabilities effectively
- Helping the firm with tax advisory matters, such as IHT, CG, estate planning etc
- Providing excellent customer service to maintain client relationships
The Person
- Senior or Semi-Senior
- ATT or/and CTA qualified
- Having worked in an accountancy practice
- Experience of managing clients and providing personal tax services, with confident of dealing with all compliance issues
- Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant computer applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
