We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our busy domiciliary care service based in Barnet. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our care service and providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered to clients
  • Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals for team members, identifying training and development needs
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Create and maintain care plans for clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care is provided
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to ensure the safety of clients and staff
  • Handle any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in on-call duties as required
  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the care sector
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Good IT skills
  • Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
