About the School – Nursery Staff – Camden, West Hampstead

This is a new Jewish faith nursery for children from 6 months – 5 years old. It is located in Inner London borough of Camden, in West Hampstead. The area is well connected with 3 different train lines (Tube, overground and Thameslink) as well as numerous buses. The nursery opened in September 2023 and is coming to the end of its first academic year running. As it is so new, they have not yet had an OFSTED inspection. However, this is a very excellent nursery. It is a happy, positive and nurturing nursery. At the moment there are 24 children, but this is increasing to 37 children (and counting) thus requiring additional staff for the teacher child ratio. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm daily, with an earlier finish at 2pm on Friday. The nursery will take staff who can work a mix of hours. All children attending the nursery are Jewish, however staff do not need to be. Staff need to be respectful of the nursery school ethos. The current staff intake is multicultural. There are no staff leaving, but due to an increased intake of children, there are new vacancies across the nursery. The nursery is open 11 months of the year. The Nursery has excellent benefits. You will also be offered a pension scheme, up to 6 paid sick days, your birthday off, up to 35 paid holiday days, free lunch, coffee and snacks, free DBS check and excellent CPD training. This is a nurturing and supportive nursery environment. The nursery is located in West Hampstead, in the borough of Camden. The nursery is new and vibrant, with a lovely back garden, friendly staff, and extra staff ratios to ensure the best care for the children.

About the Role – Nursery Staff – Camden, West Hampstead

This Early Years Foundation Stage role requires a number of Nursery Assistants to work with children aged 0 to 5 years old at this growing nursery. The group you will work in will depend on your preference and experience. This nursery is rapidly growing and as the nursery is taking on more children, it requires more staff. Staff also have the opportunity to work part time or full time shifts, therefore requiring additional staff to cover staff to child rations The nursery would prefer staff to have a minimum of level 2 or level 3 for assistant roles, and level 4 for room leader. However, if you have a high level of experience working in a nursery setting, or within Early Years, this will also be considered. You must be respectful of the Jewish Ethos of the nursery. Salary will very depending on experience and qualifications. However, as a guideline, Level 2 pays £22-26,000. Level 3 pays £23-27,000. Level 4 pays £27-31,000. The nursery has a sponsorship license and can sponsor someone who already has a license. Unfortunately, they can’t pay the minimum salary required for new teachers seeking sponsorship. If interested, please apply. The working hours, days, salary etc can be discussed at shortlisting.
