The position is for an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant located in Barnet with full-time hours from approximately 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The school is seeking candidates with previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEND pupils

· Assist in planning and implementing activities in line with EHCPs

· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

· Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents

· Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

· Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development

Requirements:

· Qualifications: Childcare qualification or equivalent

· Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEND and EYFS

· Knowledge: Understanding of SEND, including ASD and ADH

· Desirable: Experience working with children with SEND within a school setting
