Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Finchley, Barnet

A fantastic secondary school in Finchley, Barnet is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time role (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday), offering hands-on experience supporting students and teachers in a dynamic and welcoming environment.
About the Role
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students
- Helping with classroom management and lesson preparation
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
- Gaining valuable insight into the teaching profession
Requirements
- A degree in any subject (Education, English, Maths, Science, or Psychology preferred)
- A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. tutoring, coaching, youth work, voluntary or within a school)
- A proactive and supportive attitude
