Resourcing Group are currently working with an established FM provider who are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable M&E Engineer to carry out building maintenance in a hand on, critical environment.
Job Details:
- Salary: Up to 44,700 PA
- Permanent
- Full time (days)
- Location: Based on a static site in North London
Must Have:
City and Guilds up to Level 3 in Electrical Installations and building structures
BS 7671 18th Edition or similar recognised qualification
Experience working in Facilities Management
Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, gas appliances, Piped Medical Gas systems, steam plant/equipment and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments
- Works will involve working in a live environment, working at height (Podiums), using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery/equipment for larger repairs (Doors etc)
- Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the Site
- Ensure that all works assigned are managed so far as attendance and completion times, and that works orders are completed and update to the CAFM system
- To take responsibility for all works issued and to ensure that all attendance and rectification times are achieved
- Work autonomously and as part of a team as appropriate - working day will consist of arranging works, access equipment as required and ensuring all safety protocols are In place
- Diagnose fault-find, debug and commission systems, utilising appropriate technical skills and system knowledge
- Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance
- Confer with other engineers and personnel to implement operating procedures are met, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information to the Helpdesk
