Maths Academic Mentor - About the Role

As a Maths Academic Mentor, you’ll work directly within the Maths Departments of our partner schools, helping students through one-on-one sessions and small group interventions. You’ll assist with revision techniques, provide focused exam support, and play an active role in lesson delivery. From GCSE prep to A-Level tutoring, this role offers invaluable experience within a supportive environment.

Maths Academic Mentor - Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor students across year groups to strengthen their understanding and performance in Maths
  • Lead small group sessions and provide one-on-one academic support
  • Assist Maths teachers with lesson planning and resource preparation
  • Offer guidance and targeted support during exam preparation periods
  • Help students develop problem-solving strategies and build mathematical confidence
