We are looking for experienced science teachers on behalf of our client schools in North London.

As a science teacher, you will be teaching students special educational needs (SEN) which could include autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The schools are easily accessible from around London, with great transport links.

Being a science teacher at this school, you will become part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources.

Your responsibilities as a science teacher may include:

  • Lesson planning and delivery and assessment for small groups of students.
  • Helping students to develop confidence and independence.
  • Liaising with parents and families regarding students' progress.
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning and teaching environment.
  • Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

To be a science teacher, you will need:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
  • A clear and up-to-date DBS
  • Experience working with young people with SEN.
