Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently recuiting for an experienced Pastoral Support Officer for a secondary school based in Barnet.

As an Pastoral Support Officer you will:

  • Promote a nurturing atmosphere that encourages students to engage proactively in their education.
  • Implement effective strategies and interventions to support positive behavior and overall well-being.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and a positive mindset while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Help create and maintain a safe environment for all students.
  • Demonstrate confidence and competence in managing challenging behavior.
  • Able to work well as part of a team

Psychology and counselling graduates with experience are welcome to apply.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have a DBS on the update service - if you do not have one you will need to apply for one which you can do so through Veritas.
