Site Manager (Fit Out Experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong fit-out background and a solid joinery/carpentry foundation to oversee a series of exciting restaurant refurbishments across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, from coordinating trades to liaising with clients and stakeholders. Your expertise will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of restaurant fit-out projects.

  • Supervise on-site teams, including carpenters and other trades.

  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.

  • Provide on-site leadership and support to your team.

  • Handle site paperwork, including daily reports, risk assessments, and method statements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a strong background in fit-out projects.

  • Solid joinery/carpentry background with hands-on experience.

  • Relevant qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), and First Aid at Work.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices and site management protocols.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
