We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for excellence in medical equipment management.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rateOpportunities for career development and trainingSupportive and inclusive workplace cultureAccess to healthcare benefitsExperience in a dynamic healthcare environmentKey Responsibilities:Maintain close communication with the MES Supervisor to ensure smooth operations of the Equipment Library.Facilitate the timely delivery and collection of medical equipment to and from wards and clinical areas, ensuring all accessories are complete.Manage a computerised inventory of equipment using Siemens systems (EAM).Respond promptly to telephone and bleep requests for equipment while maintaining a record of all requests.Ensure thorough cleaning and decontamination of equipment by ward staff before its return to the Library.Conduct inspections and functional checks of returned equipment according to existing guidelines.Recharge battery-powered equipment during its stay in the library.Notify the MES department of any equipment issues following established protocols.Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Communicate teaching needs as they arise to the MES Supervisor.Requirements:Experience in managing inventories, preferably in a healthcare setting.Proficiency in using computerised systems, especially Siemens systems (EAM).Strong communication and organisational skills.Keen attention to detail, particularly in inspection and maintenance tasks.Familiarity with medical equipment maintenance and decontamination processes.Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare environment.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced situations requiring quick decision-making.How to Apply:If you are ready to contribute to improving patient care through efficient equipment management, please submit your CV and a brief covering letter demonstrating your relevant experience and enthusiasm for this role.
