Assistant Property Manager - Block Management

Location: Hendon (Hybrid - 2 days WFH, 3 days in office)Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + discretionary bonus

We're seeking an organised and proactive Assistant Property Manager to join a dynamic property management team. This role is heavily admin-focused and ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to leaseholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support - Assist two Property Managers in the day-to-day management of residential blocks.
  • Leaseholder & Contractor Liaison - Handle queries, resolve issues efficiently, and manage client expectations.
  • Conflict Resolution - Address leaseholder concerns with diplomacy, ensuring professional and fair outcomes.
  • Maintenance & Compliance - Support major works coordination and ensure health & safety standards are met.
  • Financial Administration - Process contractor invoices, manage Section 20 consultations, and liaise with credit control.
  • Insurance & Legal Support - Log and track insurance claims while assisting with property sales management packs.
  • Meetings & Documentation - Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute essential correspondence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in block management or a similar property role.
  • Knowledge of leasehold processes and Section 20 consultations.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict with clients while maintaining professionalism.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
