We are currently working with an excellent SEN College in Barnet, who are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school as soon as possible. 

 The Role 

You will be working with young adults, all with Special Education Needs. Most of the students you will be working with have limited communication skills, SEMH, Autism, AHDH, Physical disabilities and some are completely non-verbal. Personal care may be involved

You will be assisting more than one class, supporting several children across the school, rather than working 1:1 with any particular child. 

You will over the course of the academic year support the pupils in engaging in lessons and achieve their potential. 

The School

The School caters for a wide range of educational needs, from moderate learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders to more severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as physical disabilities.. They work with their students on all aspects of their development to help them reach their potential.
