- Operate and maintain band saws, circular saws, and other metal-cutting equipment.
- Measure and mark steel for cutting.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts by adjusting saw settings and inspecting materials.
- Handle, transport, and store raw materials and finished products safely.
- Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Fabricate and repair various steel structures using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques, along with cutting, drilling, burning, bending, and shaping tools, ensuring precision and high-quality standards.
- Grind, deburr, and prepare metal surfaces for welding and finishing.
- Assemble and fit steel components according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards.
- Proven experience as a Steel Saw Operator and Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Proficiency in using saw equipment, welding machines, and hand tools.
- Ability to read structural engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of metal properties, welding techniques, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal dust.
- Must wear proper protective equipment and follow safety regulations.
