Hours: full time, office based
This long-established, law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its Residential Conveyancing department in Barnoldswick. You provide administrative and organisational support to the head of department.
Daily Duties
- Client care, communication via email, phone and occasionally face to face
- Preparing legal files and documentation
- Liaising with lenders, borrowers, mortgagors, and other external institutions
- Requesting official copies and conveyancing searches
- Completing Companies House applications, SDLT applications and Land Registry applications
- Diary Management
- Audio typing
- Conducting general administration.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills.
