We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join Berneslai Homes. This role involves general administrative duties, handling complaints, and communicating with tenants through letters and telephone. The successful candidate will assist in various compliance-related tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our compliance department.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the delivery and implementation of various plans including the Berneslai Homes Delivery Plan and the Stock Maintenance Performance Management Plan.
  • Develop and implement service improvements aimed at increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to achieving Best Value through reviews and performance plans.
  • Produce reports for Compliance Officers on installation, repairs, maintenance, and job costs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standing orders, including collation of information for final accounts and valuations.
  • Resolve queries and enquiries from tenants, clients, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence using mail merge from Excel spreadsheets and maintain complex spreadsheets for compliance areas.
  • Process material and equipment requisitions and raise orders as directed.
  • Maintain up-to-date contractor qualification records and provide technical support on capital works projects and repairs.
  • Prepare paperwork for compliance events and provide administrative support for meetings, including minute taking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a compliance or property management setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with mail merge.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
