For the successful Sales Manager our client is offering:

  • £45,000 to £50,000 per annum basic salary DOE 
  • 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Monthly and quarterly performance-based commission scheme

The role - Sales Manager:

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Sales for the group
  • Oversee a team of 8 Business Development Managers, driving sales performance and ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue targets.
  • You will be responsible for developing strategies, coaching your team, and building strong client relationships to secure new business
  • Monitor individual and team performance, setting clear KPIs and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, ensuring the team targets the right markets and sectors.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant waste management legislation.

What our client is looking for in a Sales Manager:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Management role - ESSENTIAL
  • Knowledge of the Waste Management Industry - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL 
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Full UK driving license - ESSENTIAL
