Your Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for review and analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Interpretation of financial statements to identify and report key drivers of performance to senior managers
  • Assist with the production of Rolling Forecasts and annual Budget covering both the P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Production, analysis & interpretation of periodic KPI reports
  • Assist with Business Partner requests and production of reports
  • Opportunity to develop the role to assist the Financial Systems Analyst with the automation of data analytics and application of data visualisation toolsInvolvement in Kaizen projects and initiatives
  • Ad hoc support across internal teams
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree at 2:1/ 1st or equivalent, in a relevant subject (Accounting/Finance/Business)
  • Previous business or placement experience desirable
  • Desire for a long-term career in Finance
  • Strong analytic skills which allow the individual to quickly focus in on issues and apply proactive commercial thinking
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Team player who will support colleagues but be able to work on own initiative towards collective goals
