A newly created role to support the ongoing company growth and success, to join their existing finance function to lead small team dedicated to sales ledger and credit control, purchase ledger and payments, plus payroll responsibilities. The role involves managing and motivating the team to complete the day-to-day transactional finance tasks. You will ensure adequate training and supporting development for the team, while setting and achieving targets and KPIs to deliver results. You will continuously review processes, procedures and systems to drive improvement. Additionally, you will report on both financial and team performance.

We are looking for a candidate with experience across AP, AR and Payroll as well as experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.

Starting salary is 35k, it is a full-time permanent role with 25 days annual leave plus stat, with a flexible and hybrid working approach.
