Page Personnel are supporting a reputable Manufacturing & Professional Services organisation in Barnsley, who are needing a brand new Finance Manager to join the company. Reporting into the Managing Director and working with the wider business, as Finance Manager you will be looking after the month end accounts as well as key ad hoc duties in this very varied finance role. This opportunity offers flexible start times and is salaried up to £42,000

Description

As standalone Finance Manager reporting into the Managing Director, you will be successfully responsible for the production of the management accounts with key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments for example.

Alongside the management accounts, other key duties include ownership of the ledger, VAT returns and Cash Flow on a weekly/monthly basis.

You will be contributing towards business improvement and efficiency from a finance function perspective and liaising with key decision makers in the organisation such as Head of Operations and Sales for example.

Profile

  • Ideally AAT Level 3/4 however open to anyone Qualified by Experience or studying ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience of supporting or managing the accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and cash flow forecasting for example.
  • Ability and knowledge to contribute to the transactional finance such as payroll, VAT returns, Bank reconciliations, payment runs and invoices etc.
  • Comfortable with the basics of Microsoft excel such as vlookup or Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to work individually and as wider team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder management.
  • Happy to work 5 days on site per week.
