Company Description:Our client is the largest electrical distributor in the United Kingdom and serves both to the trade and to the public from over 300 locations in the UK. They are looking for an exceptional Internal Sales Executive to join their team in Barnsley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress within the business and to be a part of their continued success.

Skills Required:

  • The office is fast-paced and will require a quick learner who can react to ever-changing customer requirements
  • You will also be required to support the busy trade counter, serving customers face-to-face
  • Exceptional levels of customer service
  • A can do attitude we always try to make it work for the customer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail & able to manage own workload
  • A positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressure
  • A proven track record of working in telephone sales in the Electrical Wholesale Industry
  • Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Targeting new and dormant accounts to improve sales and margin performance along with actively promoting the company and their products and services
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities with new customers in the Facilities Management, retail, large and small contractors and commercial businesses in the local area
  • Developing strategies for increasing existing, new business and dormant accounts
  • Working closely with the Manager & sales team, producing timely and accurate customer quotations
  • Maintaining and growing your customer base by selling the companys wide range of products whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service, developing relationships and encouraging repeat business

Hours:Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 17:30, Friday 0:730 to 17:00 Saturday 07:30 to 11:30 on a 3-week rota
