Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a manufacturing business in Barnsley who are currently looking to recruit a HSE Advisor. Reporting to the Head of HSE, this role will work as part of the HSE Team to ensure legal compliance and continuous improvement around the business.The company is highly respected in the industry for its expertise, innovation, and long history in delivering specialist solutions across the UK and internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity for a HSE Advisor to work in a business constantly striving for best practise and to work with a business who can offer support and development. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • To ensure legal compliance to HSE Legislation
  • To support all departments in HSE matters by giving appropriate advice
  • Create company standards e.g. PPE and Contractors, and monitor compliance
  • Ensure Accident, Incidents & Near Misses are reported, investigated and provide analysis 
  • Create and update HSE processes and documentation
  • Produce regular HSE communication include Tool Box Talks and Safety Alerts 
  • Apply proactive approach to Environment, Health and Safety
  • Work with the Production teams to overcome operational issues relating to HSE

I'm keen to speak to HSE Advisors with the following experience:

  • NEBOSH Certificate 
  • Experience in an engineering and a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicator
