We are seeking an HR Officer to join our busy and thriving team on a temporary basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career within Human Resources, providing effective services to colleagues and handling a variety of interesting challenges.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Facilitate and undertake an effective online process, ensuring compliance with legislation and procedures for both yourself and customers.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate data and information is input and stored securely and confidentially in accordance with audit and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on relevant systems, processes, and procedures to a range of internal and external customers in line with regulations.
  • Check and process documentation associated with the role in line with regulations and procedures within required deadlines using appropriate systems.
  • Collect, process, and analyse system data and produce management information and reports as required in line with relevant legislation.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are conducted appropriately and in line with Financial Regulations.
  • Primarily responsible for the checking of DBS applications and ensuring employees are BPSS compliant.
  • Regularly handle telephone enquiries from service managers and applicants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant and recent experience in an HR or administration environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Packages for processing, presenting, and manipulating data.
  • Knowledge of procedures related to Recruitment & Safeguarding.
  • Methodical and diligent, able to manage workload to ensure tight deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively within a team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, meeting the English Language requirement for public sector workers.
