1st Line Support Engineer - Barnsley (on Site) FTC

My client is seeking a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join their Service Desk team, providing technical support to an inhouse team as well as their clients. You will assist with a variety of Internet, Cloud, telephone, CRM systems, and on-site. Experience in similar role for around one year would be ideal.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Helping sort laptops/Toughbook’s for field staff
  • Sorting IT for new starters and leavers
  • App support, setting log-ins, helping with queries on timesheets
  • Sending out equipment, working through tickets and general enquiries.
  • Office administration, 365 knowledge,
  • Confident communicator and phone handler.
  • Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or similar role (ideally 6 months+)
  • Confident troubleshooting
  • Excellent time management skills.

Based on site in Barnsley this role is ideal for a customer-focused individual. While the role is a FTC this represents a chance for someone to leave a real imprint and potentially be at the forefront for future projects/assignments.
