Pro-Found Recruitment are on look out for a number of Assembly Operatives for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.
Assembly Operatives Benefits:
- Rotating - Days 6am/2pm, Nights 10pm/6am & Afters 2pm/10pm - please do not apply if you can not work rotating shifts
- Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: Monday 2nd October - first week starts on the day shift 6am to 2pm
- Rate of pay: £15 per hour for days and after sand £15.97 for nights £15.96
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent
- Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72
Assembly Operatives Duties:
- Lifting and loading heavy worktops
- Working on assembly / production lines
- Quality checking of materials and finished products
- Packing and taping items
- Working with wood
- Following instructions
- General Housekeeping
- Working on your own and as part of a team
Assembly Operatives Criteria:
- Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
- Hard working, reliable and punctual
- Experience of operating and using hand tools
- Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
