We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our innovative and high-achieving Public Health Nursing Service team. This role is crucial in leading the redesign and implementation of an integrated model to enhance service access, responsiveness, and efficiency using digital technologies. Our service is dedicated to improving outcomes and life chances for children, young people, and families across Barnsley.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the redesign and implementation of an integrated service model to improve accessibility, responsiveness, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including service users, IT, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Utilise digital technologies to enhance the quality and delivery of services.
  • Provide timely advice and support to service users and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and report to key workstreams and meetings.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers, internal colleagues, and partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 6 qualification.
  • Relevant programme or project management training.
  • Significant project management skills and experience, with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in health or social care is advantageous but not essential.
