Job Title: Paralegal - FamilySalary: £23,000 - £25,000Location: PenistoneRole Overview and Responsibilities:We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Family Paralegal to support solicitors in case preparation for care proceedings, child protection matters, and other public law family cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable law firm and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with case preparation, including preparing legal documents, drafting correspondence, and compiling court bundles. Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, local authorities, and other third parties to ensure smooth communication. Conducting thorough legal research and ensuring adherence to legal aid requirements. Managing case files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date. Attending client meetings and court hearings to provide essential support when necessary.
