This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to make an impact in a dynamic environment while working within a highly respected firm.Role Overview:As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in the conveyancing process, working directly with clients and providing exceptional service at every stage of their transactions. From communication with solicitors, estate agents, and other professionals to managing documentation and deadlines, you'll be a key part of a team dedicated to delivering top-tier legal services.Key Responsibilities:Communicate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring the highest level of client care. Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, and other professional organisations, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation. Handle due diligence tasks for both solicitors and clients. Request and chase essential documentation to ensure smooth transaction progression. Manage case files, entering data into the case management system, logging correspondence, and performing administrative tasks. Draft sale contracts, re-mortgage documentation, and replies to enquiries on sale files. Work directly with lenders, managing tasks such as requesting redemption statements. Prepare for completions, including final searches, requests for mortgage advances, and liaising with clients regarding balance funds. Monitor progress and ensure adherence to key SLAs, KPIs, and panel requirements. Serve as a role model for effective file management, compliance with firm policies, and high-quality service delivery. Contribute to team meetings and report directly to the Conveyancing Team Managers on relevant matters.What We're Looking For:At least 1 year of experience working in an admin role (conveyancing or legal environment preferred). Experience in client care or customer service, with strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to manage your workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and work on your initiative. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-quality service. A basic understanding of IT systems, including email, case management software, and MS Office.What We Offer:Competitive starting salary of £22,500 per annum, with the potential to earn an additional £250 per month through a non-contractual bonus.
