They are now seeking to supplement key technical role at thereBarnsley Office and SpecialistManufacturing and Machining facility.
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Desgin Engineer
Salary: 50,000 to 55,000 DOE
Working Hours: TBC
This role will include:
- Production of conceptual designs, supported by relevant calculations and analysis, throughout the process of the production of detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Working on design projects from tender stage through to the manufacture, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
- Liasising with other engineers, shop floor staff and customers throughout the projects.
Experience required / beneficial:
- 3D CAD package such as SolidWorks / Inventor is an advantage.
- A working knowledge of MathCad would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of Finite Element Analysis.
