Damp and Mold Surveyor

Reed is currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mold Surveyor to join a project in Barnsley, working with an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO). This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for professionals with specific expertise in damp and mold surveying.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of properties to assess for signs of damp and mold.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining the findings and recommending remedial actions.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure that all damp and mold issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor the progress of remediation work and conduct follow-up surveys to ensure the effectiveness of treatments.
  • Maintain accurate records of surveys conducted, findings, and actions taken.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in surveying, specifically with a focus on damp and mold issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report findings and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
