An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
This is a temporary Team Manager role for the Short Breaks Team within the Children with Disabilities Service.
In this role you will benefit from an hourly rate of 35 per hour umbrella, whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
Managing the Shore Breaks Team includes but is not limited to:
* Lead the short break team and advise on the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation and quality assurance of related projects, training, programs and systems.
* To provide professional supervision, coaching and mentoring to internal practitioners through a variety of mechanisms to effectively address any quality or safeguarding concerns.
* To report any safeguarding incident or concerns immediately in line with Barnsley Safeguarding Children Board and Council policies and procedures.
* To develop and implement whole system change in partnership through agreed programs in order to support service design.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered, as well as experience of managing and directing staff and financial resources to meet targets and outcomes in a high pressured environment.
