A global manufacturer has a new requirement for a Service Planner to join their head Office in the north Sheffield area. As a Service Planner you will be responsible for ensuring the field-based engineers are in the right place at the right time whilst meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations. They are offering a salary package circa to 33k with some flex, Private Pension, Healthcare Plan and ongoing training and development opportunities This is an exciting and varied role which will enable you to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities of the Service Planner
- Organise and co-ordinate parts, materials and plant to coincide with the planned visits of engineers to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all service inspections, repair or upgrade visits and call outs are made on time and within the set costs.
- Accurately provide the forecasting and achievement of monthly and annual invoicing targets and in line with the annual operating plan.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Liaising with customers and sales teams to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Requirements of the Service Planner
- Has previous experience of working within a Service Planner or Service Coordinators role
- Has knowledge and experience of deploying service engineers to operate in an optimal manner.
- Has excellent IT skills to manage multiple systems.
- Has strong attention to detail as this role and is able prioritise workload.
