Must have NVQ Level 2 in plumbing, Driving Licence and Apprentice trained in Plumbing industry.
Great opportunity working for a large business based in Barnsley. My client is looking for a full time Plumber to join their team.
You must be able to provide a professional, quality of craftsmanship and customer orientated delivery of services to all Building Works internal and external customers.
Be able to work on your own imitative and organise workload levels or work within a team discipline to identify H&S strengths and areas for improvement. Also to be able to assess with the aid of line manager, training and personal development aspects that need to be allocated to provide continuous improvement to a "Best Value" service.
The Role
Carry out all aspects of plumbing work on maintenance, repairs and construction projects to Council dwellings, schools and public buildings.
Install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers and wash basin.
To renew external gutters, fall pipes and soil stacks where necessary.
Renew and repaid external water services and stop cocks.
Liaise with other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, caretakers etc.
Work to heights using the necessary safety equipment.
Submit worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales.
Carry out driver/labourer duties as and when required.
