Welder Fabricator group massively investing in growth with healthy order books for years to come. Fabricating tanks and vessels from sheet steel drawings and some MIG tack welding on mild and stainless.
Weekly bonus available! Permanently employed from day 1 with the company!
£33,280 basic with Attendance Allowance (with overtime lads onsite currently earning £45k+ OTE)

Benefits as Welder Fabricator cover:
*Days only, with an early Friday finish!
*Mon to Thurs: 8am - 4.30pm, Fridays 6am - 2.30pm, standard 40 hours per week
*Overtime is Time and a half for hours above standard

Pay for Welder Fabricator:
*£33,280 basic with Attendance Allowance (with overtime lads onsite currently earning £45k+ OTE)
*£14.00+ dependant on experience per hour + £80 weekly attendance bonus (equivalent to £16.00ph minimum!)
*Higher rates available after probationary period based on performance reviews

Status:
*Permanent from day one with the company (you are not payrolled with an agency!)

Job Responsibilities as Welder Fabricator:
*MIG welding on carbon (mild) and stainless steels
*Fabricating subframes for vehicle bodies and chassis to various client specifications
*Working with hydraulics and pneumatics
*Fitting pipes, assembly work, and working from engineering drawings
*Applying and assembling all boards, centre points, and final body building parts of the vehicle
*Fabricating parts and assemblies as required from drawings
*Occasional use of power tools, drills, cutters, spanners, and other hand tools

Requirements of the successful Welder Fabricator:
*Essential MIG welding experience with mild steel and stainless steel in various gauges
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Experience welding carbon and stainless steels ranging from 3-6mm gauge thickness
*Previous experience in a busy body shop environment (trailer, tank, or vessel building)
*Ability to understand written instructions without supervision and be mechanically minded
*Keen eye for detail and quality in weld and fabrication finish

Ideal Welder Fabricator Candidates:
*Those with job titles such as MIG Welder, Bodybuilder, Vehicle Builder, TIG Welder, Fabricator Welder please also apply.
*Welders from a commercial body shop or garage environment working on vehicles, trailers, trucks, vans or lorries (training in manufacturing and engineering will be provided)
