GSL Education is looking for a passionate and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in Derbyshire. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on young learners and help them succeed both academically and socially in a nurturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring they reach their academic potential.
• Help with the development and implementation of individualized learning plans for students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Assist with behavior management strategies to support students’ personal and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and support student progress.

Requirements:
• Experience working with primary-aged children or in a similar educational role.
• Strong understanding of primary education curriculum and teaching methods.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting the individual needs of young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• SEN experience is an advantage
• UK Driving License and Business Insurance.
