  • Morson Talent is seeking Machinists for their client in the Barrow area, open to both local and non-local applicants. Local Machinists can earn £24.53 per hour plus a £3.57 holiday allowance, while non-local Machinists earn £32.53 per hour plus a £4.73 holiday allowance. Candidates are required to have completed an approved apprenticeship and possess an NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification in a relevant trade. The role involves working with various machines, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring work meets specified quality standards. Applicants should have experience in reading technical drawings, using measuring equipment, and operating CNC and manual machinery.

LOCAL/NON LOCAL Machinists.


•Machine items requested by Production/Planners using machines best suited to the task in accordance with the skills of the relevant Machinist. To work to drawing tolerances/parameters and quality requirements.


Local (Up to 39 miles)

Non Local( Outside 39 Miles)
£32.53 + £4.73 (Holiday Allowance) PAYE

Core Duties

The role holder:
• Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications.
• Use the appropriate methods and techniques to machine components.
• Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification.
• Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively
