One of my public sector clients are currently looking for a Network Engineer. They are looking for a Network Engineer to join them on-site with travel to site in Barrow in Furness. This engagement will run on for an initial 6-month contract - with a view to extend.
They are interested in Network Engineer with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public/defence sector would be ideal.
Role Description:
- Expected to have undertaken other Network Engineering roles for at least 5 years.
- Have demonstrable experience of configuring Network systems, switching, routing, fire-walling, load balancing and voice.
- Will typically be qualified to Cisco CCNA level or vendor equivalent accreditation's
- Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of networks including network security, virtual private networking (VPN) converged networks and broadband technologies.
- Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network Infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
- Understand racking, cabling and containment systems and standards.
