About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Engineer to join a leading Network Operations Centre (NOC), supporting a variety of private and public sector clients. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, troubleshooting and configuring enterprise networks, handling network incidents, and working on cutting-edge infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time onsite position in Barrow-in-Furness, with the possibility of a relocation bonus for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and configure enterprise networks, ensuring stability and security.
  • Provide incident diagnostics and resolution for network-related issues.
  • Implement network changes, supporting ongoing improvements and upgrades.
  • Work on project-based tasks, assisting both internal and external project managers.
  • Continuously enhance your skills through professional training, certifications, and hands-on experience.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in supporting enterprise networks.
  • Technical certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)(Highly diserable)
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, AnyConnect Remote Access).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Experience with Cisco ACI software-defined networks (multi-site & multi-pod).
Security Clearance

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be sole UK nationals and eligible for SC Security Clearance.
