Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager with a background in nuclear or defence, to be engaged on a staff basis and located in Barrow.
What you'll be doing:
- Playing an active role across all build and test areas but is responsible for the governance within a specified area.
- Providing Executive Authority and ensure that it conducts its business in accordance with its Terms of Reference and remains within its boundary of authority.
- Recognised as a key person in their department, beyond their peer group for their technical knowledge, experience and competence.
- Ensuring the full scope of nuclear, product, environmental and personnel safety is adequately considered within Authorisation Group business
- Detailed understanding and experience of the control and operation of systems.
