Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What you'll be doing - Mechanical Design Engineer

  • Involved with the design of composite structures
  • Calculations and reports
  • Undertaking peer review checking activities to approve methods and calculations
  • Supporting technical development and research activities,
  • Supporting junior engineers within the team
  • Supporting installation activities in the production environment

Your skills and experiences - Mechanical Design Engineer

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (or related STEM degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience
  • Understanding of material strength properties (elastic and plastic properties)
  • Knowledge of MATLAB or MathCad
  • Experienced in the use of SolidWorks or similar design package
