The Role:

  • To complement the professional work of the ALN department by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups, monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development. 

What you will need to succeed

  • Have a passion for the education of children 
  • Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils, staff and parents. 
  • You will act as a positive role model for pupils.
  • The ability to assess Assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils’ learning. 
  • You will act as a positive role model for pupils with ASD

Previous experience in schools is not essential as training will be provided. If you have had previous experience in supporting ASD or have an interest in doing so- please get in touch.
