Are you an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a School Administrator to join a vibrant primary school team in B arnsley!

Key Responsibilities:

As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the school's administrative systems and processes.
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including attendance and pupil data.
  • Supporting senior leadership with administrative tasks.
  • Assisting with school communications, including newsletters and updates.
  • Managing supplies and ordering stock for the school office.
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure smooth running of the school day.

About You:

We are looking for a friendly, organised individual with a keen eye for detail. Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable, but we are also open to candidates with experience in the public sector such as local councils, the NHS, police force, or charities.

Key qualities include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally have experience in using school based systems such as SIMS. Training can be provided.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Requirements:

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Relevant experience in administration, preferably in a school or public sector setting.
  • Strong referencing from previous employers.
