Are you an experienced Accountant who has vast experience assisting with the statutory reporting, the management accounting cycle and working on various projects?
A leading company based in South Essex are looking for an interim Financial Accountant for an initial six-month assignment to help year-end, audit and more.
This is a highly agile position that offers flexible working hours, hybrid working, the chance to work within a fast-paced working environment and more.
You can be Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
As an interim Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Assist in year-end close and audits.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
- Ensure proper posting of journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, with a focus on production costs.
- Monitor budgetary compliance and report deviations.
- Analyze cash flow and project future financial needs.
- Manage inventory accounting, including stock valuation, adjustments, and periodic counts.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and reconcile any variances.
As an interim Financial Accountant, what you will get in return:
- £45,000 - £55,000
- Hybrid Working (2/3 Days in the office)
