Location: Basildon

Our client is a leading provider of logistics solutions, specialising in Sea and Air transportation, with Road logistics also available. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a motivated and self-starting Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on generating leads and business for Sea and Air logistics, with Road logistics as a secondary focus
  • Develop and maintain a robust portfolio of clients
  • Quickly cover costs through effective sales strategies and client acquisition
  • Negotiate commission based on portfolio performance
  • Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve expected ROI
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

Experience:

  • Proven experience withing the Air and Sea freight, business development.
