Job: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £35,000- £43,000
Benefits: Pension, annual leave, van, career progression
The Role:
Randstad are working with a very dear and longstanding client of ours who are looking to secure the services of 3 qualified Asbestos Surveyor (and ideally dual skilled analyst too) who would be able to service commercial survey contracts across the M25 area.
The sites will all be residential premises and the surveys will be carried out using TEAMS.
You will be given your survey sites in job-lots and will have full autonomy to book the sites in a sequence you deem to be the most optimum. So no more frustrating and excess journeys due to a scheduler the other end of the country who doesn't know the local Geography booking you a 5pm appointment 100 miles away, as it's only 'down the road' from you.
Totally opsional but as well as Asbestos Surveys, my client may also use you as a local option to carry out some very minor and low value non-licensed removal work, i.e. removing some floor tiles from a garage etc. None licenced removal.
About You:
You must be a BOHS P402 qualified surveyor, whilst an analyst with the P403 / P404 tickets will be quite useful for my client also.
This will be a fully independent and autonomous role, therefore you need to be highly experienced in working under your own initiative and must be confident in designing and executing your own work schedules.
For the right candidate this will also represent a fantastic opportunity to help with the development of what is my clients fledgling Survey Office. If this placement goes as well as my client is expecting it to, then a good deal of resource will be put into growing the business underneath and around you. So for a career minded individual then there cannot be many more better fast-track opportunities out there currently.
If this opportunity resonates with you, then apply today.
