About the Company

Specialising in fit-out, refurbishment, and full construction services, this company is looking for a Contracts Manager with either a formal qualification in Building/Trades or equivalent hands-on experience in commercial construction.

You should have comprehensive knowledge of various building trades, construction techniques, and modern methodologies.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception to final account, ensuring smooth delivery and exceeding client expectations.

This role would also be ideal for a Senior Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management - Oversee multiple projects, ensuring profitability and high-quality delivery.
  • Team & Contractor Coordination - Manage on-site labour and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Client Liaison - Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and progress reviews.
  • Estimating & Pricing - Conduct site visits, price jobs, and prepare accurate estimates.
  • Health & Safety - Carry out site safety and maintenance inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Policy & Compliance - Ensure all company policies and procedures are strictly followed.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent planning & communication skills
  • Health & Safety management expertise
  • Ability to manage change effectively
  • Proven leadership & negotiation skills
  • IT proficiency (MS Office, project management tools, etc.)

Qualifications (Preferred but not Mandatory)
