Reed is currently representing a continuously growing Accountancy Practice based in the Basildon area, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their accounting and financial needs.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their business operations and financial goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting, tax, and financial planning tailored to each client's unique requirements.
  • Review and supervise the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
  • Lead by example, motivating your team to excel and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA qualification
  • Substantial experience within an accountancy practice, with a strong background in client management and team leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and client interactions.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide team members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
