This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA professional to take on a leadership role, managing a portfolio of clients while mentoring and developing a team of talented professionals.

The Role

As an Audit & Accounts Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with a proactive and consultative approach. Working closely with Directors and Associates, you will manage multiple assignments, structure teams effectively, and contribute to the strategic growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit & accounts assignments from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative changes and keep the team updated on relevant developments.
  • Take ownership of a client portfolio, working alongside senior leadership to ensure service excellence.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives and business development activities, contributing to growth and innovation.
  • Manage billing, work-in-progress, and debtor collection to meet financial targets.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.
What We're Looking For
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in audit & accounts management within an accountancy practice.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify business opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge in audit, accounting, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
